The Nature of Creative Alchemy
Creativity is alchemy. It takes the unseen, the emotional, the chaotic — and transforms it into form.
Frustration becomes action. Ink on a page. Clay in your hands. A voice on camera. A blog post written with a passionate heart.
The Spark: Creativity as Alchemy
This week on TikTok, I explored creativity as alchemy. But just off-camera? I was mid-transmutation myself.
I’d just restarted my morning pages and artist dates, inspired by The Artist’s Way. I needed a lifeboat — something to hold me steady through the tidal waves of inner change. With Jupiter moving into Cancer, emotions have been intense. You may have felt it too — like every feeling is larger than life, flooding your system. That’s Jupiter, the planet of expansion, swimming through the emotional ocean of Cancer.
The only way I could make sense of the overwhelm was to write. Journaling became a balm, a processing tool, a map.
And just like that, the Wild Intuitive led me here…

Tool Spotlight: The Artist’s Way
The Artist’s Way fell into my lap in 2023, in the wake of my Saturn Return. My relationships were crumbling. My sense of self felt fractured. I was spiritually disoriented and grasping for anything that might help me come home to myself.
When the book came to me, I rolled my eyes at first. I had such low expectations. But a small, quiet part of me — the wild intuitive — whispered, “Try.” So I did.
What followed was a whirlwind. Week by week, I felt something I hadn’t felt in years: hope. I felt expressive. I felt held.
The Wild Intuitive in me began to awaken. She was instinctual, passionate, and fiercely creative. She didn’t move with brute force — she moved with clarity and certainty, like a guide who knew the way.
She helped me move through shame.
She helped me release the weight of other people’s disappointments.
She guided me toward the next threshold of self.

Emotional Alchemy: Security Through Frustration
In my professional life, frustration had been brewing for years. The promise of job security through hard work started to feel like a lie — a big one.
The monotony. The micromanagement. The subtle soul-crushing of sitting at a desk day after day. The personalities who hated their jobs and showed up only to make life harder for everyone else. It was exhausting.
For a long time, I thought frustration meant I was doing something wrong.
Now I see it as a threshold — a portal. Frustration is energy. It wants movement. It wants to be channeled.
I used to suppress that fire. But now, I recognize it as a creative signal. It was never meant to be managed. It was meant to be transmuted.
“The key to career resiliency is self-empowerment and choice. The trick is to say, ‘What else could I do?’ instead of ‘Why me?’” — The Artist’s Way, p.136
Mirror Moment: Why I Started My Biz
I started my spiritual business because I was tired of giving my gifts to systems that only wanted fragments of me. When I poured passion and creativity into my 9–5, I felt drained — while companies flourished. When I withheld that passion, I felt dull and disconnected.
I didn’t want to just show up. I wanted to expand. I wanted space to explore creative ideas, soulful systems, emotional resonance.
I wanted a container that could hold the whole of me — not just the parts that were palatable.
“I didn’t start my business to be bold and brazen. I started it to house my full self — deeply layered and all.”
Artist’s Life Snap
It’s like when I paint. At first, I resist the blank canvas.
What should I paint? Should I go get inspired first?
But then I breathe. I sit. I stay. I dip my brush into color.
The moment I start painting the background — something unlocks. The resistance softens. A wave of creative energy flushes through me. It had been waiting all along. It just needed me to begin.
Ritual + Reflection: The Wild Intuitive Speaks
To close, here’s a gentle ritual to invite your own Wild Intuitive into the room.
Light a candle or incense. Take three deep, cleansing breaths.
Then, ask:
What truth wants to move through me this week?
Let the answer arrive softly. In symbols, in images, in whispers.
